About your artwork

  • Make a print ready PDF with all text converted to outlines.
  • Always include a 5 cm bleed (2 inches).
  • Save you PDF as Acrobat 6 (PDF 1.5 or newer).
  • Please enclose colorproofs, layouts. Set flat colors as PMS, or else as CMYK.

Fileformats

We accept your artwork as a PDF from PC or Mac. Artwork without text and logos can also be sent as psd, tif or jpeg. It is important that your artwork contains high res images and also that any linked file is included.

Image resolution
Images up to 10 sqm (100 sqft) should have at least 50 dpi. Bigger images should have at least 30 dpi. This in scale 1:1.

Send files

Artwork can be delivered via e-mail (max 10 Mb), FTP, CD, DVD or USB.

Color Profile

At Big Image we use the “Europe ISO Coated FOGRA39” profile. The adaption to your specific material occours when we rip your original.

The profile should be available in most softwares that support icc-profiles, however if you need to you can download it here.

Calculate resolution (1:1)

This page can help you find the best resolution when you scan your original. Extra non printed material should not be counted into the total sqm. Note that if you choose to work in a resolution significantly smaller than the suggested one, please ask us if it´s possible or not.
