J.Lindeberg showed their Autumn/Winter 2016 Women’s Collection at Stockholm Fashion Week in February. To reinforce the impression made by the collection, they chose to partner the event with an exclusive photographic exhibition featuring large-scale framed photographs. The exhibition was a collaboration between top model Frida Gustavsson and Johan Lindeberg, with Big Image focused on delivering the large format.
The photo exhibition during Stockholm Fashion Week was for specially invited journalists, press representatives and fashion aficionados from all around the world. The project was fast paced and the choice of supplier was a crucial factor, with guaranteed quality and help hanging the framed photos on existing fittings in the venue as critical elements. Additional requirements were meeting the delivery schedule and rapid communication, with one good contact who was readily accessible.
“Big Image has sound expertise and is one of the few companies capable of producing the huge size we had chosen for the project, with photos measuring 2.5 x 3.5 metres. Big Image also consistently delivers extremely high class products. When you’re working with material that’s virtually art, it’s important to maintain quality through every aspect of the project. And that goes for execution and delivery too,” says Malin Odelfelt, PR & MARKETING MANAGER FASHION at J.Lindeberg.
Malin also says that they faced a number of challenges during the course of the project and Big Image was hugely helpful in solving the problems that came up to do with the event decor.
“We work with fashion, which is an extremely fast-moving industry, often involving a lot of creativity and a need for quick solutions with high demands in terms of quality and finish – we solved all this together extremely successfully! All of us at J.Lindeberg are really pleased with the relationship, the show was a great success and we’ve had so much feedback on the collection, on the photos and on the whole event, all of it good!”
Malin summed up the result and the relationship with Big Image in three points:
• Beautiful products
