1. Ingmar Bergman exhibition to the US and China with images from Big Image

    To celebrate what would have been legendary Ingmar Bergmans 90th birthday this summer, the Swedish Institute will travel the world with a Bergman exhibit. Two very large images, 12 meters in length will be installed on site in both the US and China. The images have been printed with Big Images' own award winning technology, and will be installed with a system also developed by Big Image

  2. Big Image wins gold at Summer Olympics

    The victor at this year’s laser sailing competition at the summer Olympic Games in Athens won the gold medal with a sail printed by Big Image. The Swedish large Image printing company was contracted to print flags and the Olympic logo on the sails of all 50 boats entered in the laser race.

The number of orders increased by 20%, an average of one per day, and the company manufactured more than 31,000 square meters of scenery for theatre and opera stages around the world. “More and more stage and set designers are discovering what scenery printed using digital technology can do to enhance the experience for their audiences,” says Maria Tapper, Marketing Director for Big Image.
